As a Machine Learning student at Holberton School - Tulsa, I’m grateful to have found myself with the opportunity to spend two years pursuing a lifelong passion of seeking to understand the intersection of technology with finance, economics, business, and humanity in general. I’ve long been fascinated by quantitative and algorithmic thinking, specifically as it relates to financial markets, and through my journey in understanding Machine Learning I am able to equip myself with the tools to deeply understand these subjects. Currently, I’m using my skills to develop an AI personal assistant project that involves migrating all of my notes, research, and data from various technological hubs into a centralized notebook of databases called “Notion”. This project, which has already produced for myself a very tangible increase in quality of life, is a prototype of the services I intend to provide to broader business interests when I graduate and embark on a new career in technology and machine learning. Moving forward, I’m enthusiastic about the opportunity to be at the forefront of the AI and machine learning renaissance. With a diverse background that includes roles in cultivation, production, finance, and journalism, I bring a unique blend of skills and experiences to the table and I look forward to finding innovative ways to apply these skills and experiences to the ML and tech industry.
